Johns Hopkins Blue Jays
Johns Hopkins came to our Learfield Creative/CLC team to expand the university’s existing brand system by developing a set of new secondary Blue Jay marks.
Since 2014, Johns Hopkins has used its current primary side-facing Blue Jay head as the official mark for athletics. The newly created designs stay consistent with that visual identity, introducing a front-facing Blue Jay head and full-body versions that complement both the traditional side profile and the new forward-facing look.
We also created a series of illustrated versions of their athletic mascot, Jay, whose current costume design was introduced in 2019.
