Dillon Hockey Development

Dillon Hockey Development is a hockey skating school located in San Diego, California. For this mark, the client and I wanted to pay homage to both of Southern California’s NHL teams, the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks, by using the Kings color scheme and motion lines, and the stylized D as a nod to the Ducks. The primary mark is contained in the shape of a hockey faceoff circle and a customized italic typeface (both with and without motion lines) for use in wordmarks rounds out the brand family.
